White Sand Lake is a 368-acre lake located in Baxter, Minnesota. It is right outside Brainerd, 119 miles southwest of Duluth and 128 miles north of Minneapolis.

The closest location for emergency care is St. Gabriel's Hospital, 32 miles south. The Duluth International Airport is 123 miles east.
