Further north is Bass Brook Wildlife Management Area which serves as a nature preserve whose hiking trails are a moderate challenge. It neighbors Portage Park, which features four baseball fields. The nature preserve is also near a campground area so that you can extend your stay and spend the nights watching the stars or telling stories. In the nearby small town of Cohasset, a few unique eateries are worth your whiles, such as Florio’s Grill and Tavern and Casey’s, which offers delicious pizza takeout.
