Pine Lake - Crosslake

Pine Lake can be found in the southeast of Crosslake. St. Cloud is under two hours away, and makes for an excellent day trip! There are a few smaller airfields nearby, but the closest major airport is Minneapolis−Saint Paul International Airport which is, typically, reachable within two hours and 45 minutes. Urgent care can be provided at Cuyuna Regional Medical Center, 21 minutes away. Snacks and groceries can be found at some of the local markets near Ideal Green Market Cooperative, within ten minutes driving distance. Life on the Water

This 324-acre lake is the ideal location for anglers and those looking to prop their feet up by the water. Pine Lake’s shore is dotted with piers and docks, both for the average fisher, and the thrill-seeker. Pine Lake also acts as the source for Pine River, and as such has a natural opening down into the river. One ramp can be accessed on the western shore. While Pine Lake’s size does make it capable of watercraft activities, the nearby Cross Lake is more equipped for skiing and tubing. For anglers looking to toss out a line, Pine Lake contains a myriad of different fish: Black Bullhead, Bluegill, Rock Bass, Yellow Perch, Walleye, and many more.
