Moore Lake is a 96-acre lake in Fridley, MN. The lake is divided into two sections by MN-65: East and West Moore. East Moore, located adjacent to Moore Lake Park, is 28 acres in size. West Moore, located adjacent to suburbs, is 68 acres in size. Fridley was founded in the mid-1800s and quickly became an industrial boomtown shortly thereafter. It continues to be an area of high employment and a bustling suburb of the Twin Cities! Minneapolis-St. Paul International is 22 minutes south in Minneapolis, and Mercy Hospital - Unity Campus is 6 minutes north in Fridley.

Fun on the Water

Both East and West Moore have plenty of opportunities for fun on the water! Popular activities here include kayaking, canoeing, fishing, relaxing in the park, volleyball pits, and picnicking! The park has two fishing piers and easy water access to launch your kayak. On both basins, anglers can expect to find healthy populations of bluegill, shiner, largemouth bass, northern pike, and more!
