Lake Owasso is 374 acres in size, with a maximum depth of 37 feet. The lake contains 5.7 miles of shoreline, leaving plenty of room for recreation and relaxation.

This large lake is excellent for swimming, boating, fishing, and watersports. Taking a leisure stroll on the shore provides many opportunities for nature photography and wildlife observation.

Lake Owasso County Park is at the northern end of the lake and also touches nearby Lake Wabasso. The park has a picnic shelter, parking, a nature playground, a swimming beach, a boat launch, four dedicated car-top boat stalls, picnic tables, a walking trail, an open playfield, and restrooms.

Enjoy the outdoors at nearby Tamarack Nature Center. This large nature preserve features hiking and cross-country skiing trails, plus a play area and orienteering course.

Next, explore nature at Rice Creek North Regional Trail Corridor, regional hiking, biking, and cross-country skiing trail through wetlands along the course of a creek.
