Life on the Water

Lake George is 487 acres in size, with a maximum depth of 32 feet. The lake contains just under three and a half miles of shoreline, offering plenty of space for lake fun.

Boating, fishing, swimming, and watersports are all popular activities here. Many homes have docks, but a public access point is on the northern side of the water.

Anglers can find black bullhead, bluegill, brown bullhead, green sunfish, largemouth bass, northern pike, pumpkinseed, walleye, white crappie, yellow bullhead, yellow perch, and more.

Lake George Regional Park is on the northern part of the shore. The park features restrooms, picnic areas, a boat launch, a fishing pier, a swimming beach, a playground, a sand volleyball court, and trails for hiking/biking.
