Rice Lake National Wildlife Refuge Features Big Spring Falls. The flat rocks at the bottom of the falls are a great spot to cool off.

An Hour to Duluth

The city of Duluth is just over an hour away, along with the waters of Lake Superior. There you can take a lakeside walk, sightsee along the North Shore Scenic Drive, or dine at one of its many restaurants.

Other attractions include Great Lakes Aquarium, North Shore Scenic Railroad, Glensheen Mansion, Spirit Mountain Ski Area, or the Lake Superior Railroad Museum.
