On the Water Fun

Lake Jefferson’s east and west reservoirs offer fantastic fishing for all anglers in the family! Both parts of the lake have over 20 known species in each part.

The East Jefferson, the largest on the Jefferson-German chain, has 24 species of fish to catch. The most common are largemouth and white bass, walleye, and northern pike.

West Jefferson boasts 21 species of fish, with the most common being black bullhead, bluegill, and largemouth bass.

All parts of Lake Jefferson and the adjacent lakes include boat ramps, so the recreational boaters and kayakers in the family can get on the water!
