Convenient to Minneapolis and Saint Paul

Forest Lake is conveniently off of I-35, just 30 miles north of Minneapolis and Saint Paul. It features a beautiful collection of lakes and hotels, restaurants, shops, schools, and more.

Just a few minutes north of Forest Lake, Chisago City offers similar conveniences along with many large, pristine bodies of water.

The twin cities are known for their business, entertainment, and nightlife, but they also house the Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport and United Hospital.

Located in the city, Forest Lake is an active lake environment where residents, vacationers, and city-goers enjoy.

Water activities like boating, fishing, swimming, water skiing, and kayaking all happen at Forest Lake. Lakeside Park features a playground, beach, and walking paths; it also hosts several events throughout the year.

Clear Lake is a more relaxed lake environment within the city; it was rightfully named, boasting some of the area’s clearest water.

If you are looking for activities off the water, then head to the Forest Hills Golf Club, Castlewood Golf Course, or any of the several lakeside parks in the city.

Tranquility in Chisago

Chisago is home to so many lakes that it may be hard to pick; each body of water is promising for boating, fishing, or swimming.

Chisago Lake runs into Lindstrom Lake, and together they feature the Chisago Boat Launch, Paradise Park Beach, Beach Park, and more.

Ojiketa Regional Park is on Green Lake. The park is popularly used for hiking and biking, but its lodge is often used for weddings and other events.

October is an exciting time to visit the park because it turns into the Nightmare at Hallow Scream Park.

Winehaven Winery is also in-town where fine wines and sweet honey are produced. The beautiful facility is a popular host of tours, tastings, and events.
