Susan Lake is located in the northern portion of Michigan, just off Lake Charlevoix. Traverse City, Michigan is 54 miles southwest of Susan Lake. Mackinaw City, Michigan is just 50 miles northeast of the lake.

Charlevoix Hospital is 5.1 miles from the heart of the lake and the nearest international airport is Chippewa County International Airport, just 91 miles away.

The 130-acre lake is the perfect place for fishing, boating, and more. The beautiful water and scenic location make it a great place for the whole family.

Anglers can expect to catch northern pike and panfish, among other popular catches. Local and state fishing and boating regulations apply. With 3.3 miles of shoreline and a maximum depth of 15 feet, the shallow lake makes for the perfect place to fish and swim.
