Arrowhead Lake

Located in Oakland County, Michigan

Arrowhead Lake is a five-acre lake located outside of Holly (Oakland County), Michigan. Detroit is 54 miles southeast, Lansing is 70 miles west, and Ann Arbor is 44 miles south.

The closest emergency care center is the McLaren Fenton Emergency Room, seven miles west in Fenton, Michigan. The Oakland County International Airport is 18 miles southeast in Waterford Township, Michigan.

A Paddlesports Wonderland

Arrowhead is a serene slice of nature located in the Detroit-metro area. It is an excellent lake for kayaking, canoeing, or casting a line out! If kayaking is your favorite activity, then you're in luck, as the WaterWorks Park launch is less than a mile away!

Here you'll find seven miles of Shiawassee River, stretching from Holly to nearby Fenton. This stretch is relatively shallow, with many twists and turns that take you through prairies, forests, and wetlands!

Across South Broad Street is Stiffs Mill Pond, a local fishing hole. Anglers can expect to find northern pike, largemouth bass, and rock bass.

After a long day of kayaking or fishing, head into Holly to grab a bite to eat. Many fantastic restaurants are in Holly, like Red Devil, Historic Holly Hotel, Andy's Place, and Avia Family Dining.

Mt Holly Ski & Snowboard Resort is only seven miles north of Arrowhead Lake. The park features a high-speed lift and lots of slopes. In the summer, the park doubles as an offroading location.

Located less than an hour south of Arrowhead Lake, the list of things to do in Detroit is seemingly endless.
