Stockbridge Bowl, known locally as Lake Mahkeenae, is located in Stockbridge, Massachusetts. This 398-acre man-made lake has approximately six miles of shoreline with a maximum depth of 48 feet.

The Albany International Airport is situated 50 miles northwest in Albany, New York. The closest location for urgent care is the Berkshire Medical Center, 11 miles north in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.

Activities on the Lake

There are plenty of activities to do out on Stockbridge Lake!

The boating ramp is located near the northwest side of the lake. It’s owned and operated by the town of Stockbridge, and there are a set of rules to follow located at the ramp.

The different types of species that you can expect to catch here at Stockbridge are Chain Pickerel, Yellow Perch, Pumpkinseed, Brown Bullhead, just to name a few. Fun fact, the Division of Fisheries and Wildlife releases catchable trout here each fall and spring.
