As a less-discovered lake of Maine, Orange Lake is a place of serenity. The lake covers 235 acres and has a tree-lined shore of four miles. The lake reaches depths of 42 feet, and the lake has an average depth of 12 feet.

Without any public boat launches on the lake, homeowners and renters have a beautiful body of water to themselves. Boating, fishing, and swimming are everyday lake activities.

Brown, brook, rainbow trout, yellow perch, chain pickerel, pike, and pumpkinseed fill the lake. Paddle around the lakeshore for chances to spot wildlife like loons, blue herons, foxes, deer, squirrels, or a bald eagle.
