About Crystal Lake

Under 50 Miles From Portland

Crystal Lake is a beautiful body of water sitting above Long Lake in Harrison, Maine. Bridgton is just minutes away from grocery stores, restaurants, stores, or the Bridgton Hospital.

The lake is just an hour's drive from Portland, where there are many attractions along with the Portland International Jetport or Maine Medical Center.

Known for its Fishing

Crystal Lake, initially called Anonymous Pond, covers 445 acres. Its waters reach depths of 65 feet and claim nearly four miles of shoreline.

As the only lake entirely located within Harrison's borders, it is a local favorite for activities like boating, fishing, and swimming. Pontoons, fishing boats, kayaks, and canoes all share the waters.

The lake is stocked annually with brook trout and landlocked salmon, making it a favorable location among the anglers. Bass, white perch, pickerel, and hornpout also populate the lake.

The waters of Long Lake, covering 4,445 acres, are just a skip away if you feel like venturing to a larger body of water. The Crystal Lake Public Boat Launch is on the northern shore of Long Lake for easy access to either lake.

Outside the Lake

Bridgton's Highlands Country Club is a fine place for a round of golf or tennis match.

There are plenty of opportunities for fun in Portland. You can ferry out to the Casco Bay Islands, explore Downtown Old Port, try local breweries, or climb to the top of the Portland Observatory.

Old Orchard Beach, Maine's number one rated beach back to back, is just an hour away as well. The location offers seven miles of beachfront and an amusement park, carnival games, restaurants, and shops.

A Fantastic Place for a Lake Home

Crystal Lake's laid-back atmosphere makes it perfect for one looking to raise a family, retire, or have a relaxing vacation.
