Long Pond is part of the Belgrade Chain of Lakes, a favored destination in Maine’s Kennebec Valley Region. With I-95 nearby, Bangor, Brunswick, or Portland are an easy drive.

Waterville is just east of the lake for stores, restaurants, Colby College, or LaFleur Airport. Augusta offers similar conveniences, including Target, VA Maine Healthcare, and the Augusta State Airport.

The waters of Long Pond stretch 2,557 acres and claim 31 miles of shoreline. The lake reaches depths of 106 feet and has a mean depth of 35 feet.
