Days on the Lake

Offering 461 acres, Hermon Pond is the place to go for lake recreation on quaint, quiet waters. Reaching depths of 17 feet, Hermon Pond sustains a significant population of fish.

Anglers reel in great-sized largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, black crappie, white perch, and chain pickerel.

For access to the waters, there are public boat ramps on the western and eastern shore. Kayakers and canoers have a fun time paddling the calm lake.

Hermon Mountain and City Attractions

Hermon Mountain Ski Area is on the west end of the lake. The facility has slopes for the experienced and the beginners. The slopes can be enjoyed for hours into the night by skiers, snowboarders, and tubers can enjoy the snowy slopes for hours at a time.
