Rita Bishop

Rita Bishop grew up in Paris, KY, but her heart has always been drawn to the Lake Cumberland area, where her parents and grandparents hailed from. After moving back to be near her parents following a divorce in 2001, Rita fell in love with the region and has been there ever since. With over 23 years of experience selling property in the Lake Cumberland area, Rita is truly an expert in her niche. She finds joy in meeting new people, showcasing the area's beauty, and helping clients achieve their real estate dreams. In 2022, Rita was honored with the Distinguished Service and Lifetime Achievement Award in the Somerset-Lake Cumberland market. 

Living near Lake Cumberland since 2001, Rita takes full advantage of the area's offerings, regularly enjoying boating, tubing, and picnicking with her family. With four children and five lovely grandchildren, Rita cherishes every moment spent with her family. When not selling lake homes or spending time with loved ones, Rita can be found pursuing hobbies like photography, scrapbooking, and home improvement projects.
