West Okoboji Lake

West Okoboji Lake is located in the northwest region of Iowa in Dickinson County. It is 0.1 miles from Okoboji and just minutes from I-90.

The lake is known for its beautiful, blue waters and covers 3,847 acres with 20 miles of shoreline. West Okoboji Lake reaches maximum depths of 136 feet, and its average depth is 38 feet.

West Okoboji Lake is a part of the "Iowa Great Lakes," a collection of several large lakes near the state border. West Okoboji Lake is connected to its neighbor, East Okoboji Lake, via a narrow channel.

Brooks Golf Course is near the intersection of East and West Okoboji Lake. This course is larger, with 27 holes on a smooth, picturesque green. It also has an excellent overview of both West and East Okoboji Lake.
