Corydon Lake has many on and off water activities. Since it is surrounded by Corydon Lake Park, many options such as camping and hiking are all available. The on the water activities include fishing and swimming; however, only electric motors are allowed on the water.

When fishing, some of the most popular species you will find at this lake include black crappie, bluegill, channel catfish, and largemouth bass.

Day in the City

Since Des Moines is the capital of Iowa, many interesting activities are available. Activities such as the Des Moines Water Park, Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden, or the Des Moines Art Center are all great ways to have a fun day out.
