Quarry Lake real estate is considered a limited inventory market for lake homes and lake lots in Illinois.
There are typically around 10 lake homes for sale on Quarry Lake at any given time. The lake will usually have very few lake lots and land for sale.
Located in DuPage County, Quarry Lake is just 1.1 miles from the city of Naperville, Illinois. It is a part of the Naperville Park District, which is made up of over 100 parks, the DuPage River, recreational facilities, events, a riverwalk, restaurants, and more. This park district is truly a beautiful place to live in.
Motorized boats are not allowed on Quarry Lake, but don’t worry, and you can still see from the seat of a paddleboat. These are no ordinary paddle boats. They are large enough to resemble mini-pontoon boats and are just as much fun.
There is so much to experience in the Naperville Park District. This area truly has something for every kind of person. With more than 2,400 acres with 136 parks and facilities, the district provides more than 1,500 recreational, arts, and environmental programs and special events annually.
Included within the district’s operations are two championship golf courses, a multitude of playgrounds, trails, athletic courts, and sports fields, Fort Hill Activity Center, Knoch Knolls Nature Center, two inline skating and skateboarding facilities, the Millennium Carillon, the Paddleboat Quarry, historic Centennial Beach, and the beautiful Riverwalk.
It is hard to imagine anyone would want to leave Quarry Lake, but with the large number of people drawn to the area, there is no shortage of places to eat, drink, and be merry.
The Magical Starlight Theatre, DuPage’s Children’s Museum, and many restaurants surround the area.
Whether you are looking to buy a family home, a full-time retirement residence, or a vacation rental, Quarry Lake is an excellent choice.
