Slocum Lake is a glacially formed lake of 228 acres. Its waters are relatively shallow, with an average depth of four feet. The lake drains from a dam on the south shore to eventually run into the Fox River.

Your boating does not have to stop there, Port Barrington Marina on the Fox River provides a boat launch and year-round storage.
