Century Park is home to the community’s sledding hill, a wintertime favorite, playgrounds, sports fields and courts, and an ice skating rink.

The village includes many other parks with hiking trails and pavilions, as well as the Vernon Hills Sports Complex and skate park. The Vernon Hills Family Aquatic Center features two pools with fountains and kiddie play areas.

Lakeview Fitness is the perfect place to get in shape, offering classes, personal training, and an area to occupy the kids.

Little Bear Lake is just 10 miles west of Sunrise Park. It is a fabulous place boasting a large beach on the beautiful waters of Lake Michigan. On your way there you will pass several golf facilities that are sure to appeal to a golfer of any skill level.
