Goose Lake is a small section of the Illinois River connected to Upper Peoria Lake in Peoria County and Woodford County, Illinois.

The most popular species in Goose Lake and Peoria Lake are channel catfish, largemouth bass, crappie, bullhead, and freshwater drum. Of course, there are plenty of opportunities to make a catch if you make your way up or down the Illinois River.

Boating, swimming, and other water sports are enjoyed on Goose Lake. There are several beaches for boats to park on if you want to break from the waves.

Lining the Eastern Shore of Goose Lake is the 400-acre Three Sisters Park. Currently, this park consists of numerous festival fields, timber, a natural amphitheater, and buildings.

They are working on building an agricultural museum, a model 1918 Living History Farmstead, barn, windmill, and out-buildings with era correct furnishings and equipment. It is an interesting stop if you choose to live on Goose Lake.
