Streets Pond is a long, narrow lake that lies in Wilton's town, just east of the New York and Connecticut state line. Being 20 miles from Bridgeport or 60 miles from New York City, Streets Pond is the perfect wooded retreat not too far from the city.

You will find local conveniences in Wilton while Bridgeport has the Bridgeport Hospital or the Sikorsky Memorial Airport.

Enjoy the Outdoors

The quaint, quiet lake is where you will want to come home to and unwind as you hammock, picnic, or relax by the beautiful waters. Boating, fishing, and swimming are just as enjoyable. Fishers can reel in smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, pickerel, perch, or catfish from the lake's plentiful stock.

In the northern part of the lake lies Wilton Town Forest, which has trails, creeks, and breathtaking views. Allen Meadows Park is a beautiful location to picnic with the family, throw a frisbee, or go for a walk.

The New Canaan Playhouse is a historic theater built in 1923 that is still a functioning theater playing the newest releases.

In Bridgeport or the Maritime Aquarium in Norway, Connecticut's Beardsley Zoo are fantastic places to spend the day learning about wildlife. Rolling Hills Country Club has an 18-hole golf course, tennis courts, a swimming pool, and dining at the clubhouse.
