Lake Kenosia

Lake Kenosia lies in the town of Danbury in Fairfield County. The lake is approximately 63 miles from New York City, and about 23 miles from Norwalk. It is also directly below Interstate 84.

Between the interstate and the lake is the Lake Kenosia State Park, a 25-acre park that offers four soccer fields and sandy, freshwater beaches.

Beautiful Waters

Lake Kenosia covers 60 acres of surface area with an average depth of 13 feet and a maximum depth of 18 feet. The lake was created by a dam on the Still River, which allowed the reservoir to form.

Danbury

Danbury, also known as the "Hat City," has a lot of rich history and museums for residents and visitors to explore.

The Danbury War Memorial is in the heart of the town and offers lots of fun activities like dance, karate, volleyball and basketball.

There's also the Danbury Ice Arena where you can catch a hockey game, or the Fair Mall, which has tons of shops and dining experiences.
