Sand Lake is a 900-acre lake located in Burnett County. It has a maximum depth of 73 feet. Visitors have access to the lake from a public boat landing. This lake is located in the northwest region of Wisconsin.

Life on the Water

Fish found in this lake include panfish, largemouth bass, northern pike, and walleye. The lake's water clarity is very clear. Spend the day rowing a kayak, canoe, or paddleboard around the lake to get a vigorous workout. For your convenience, there is a boat launch at the west end of the lake.

Within an hour's drive of Sand Lake, there are a variety of beautiful hiking trails, parks, and other attractions. For entertainment, you can explore St. Croix National Scenic Riverway, Wilderness Walk Zoo, or St. Croix State Park. Everybody can enjoy the activities in this lake area!
