Anvil Lake is a mid-sized lake near Eagle River (Vilas County), Wisconsin, roughly 194 miles southeast of Duluth, Minnesota.

Most residents utilize the nearby Rhinelander-Oneida County Airport 36.7 miles away, but for international travel, the Sawyer International Airport is 129 miles away. Residents on the lake enjoy quick access to help when they need it with the Aspirus Eagle River Hospital, just 11 miles away.

Anvil Lake spans 377 acres reaching depths of up to 32 feet. Residents on the lake enjoy various water sports, including water skiing, wakeboarding, and paddleboarding.
