The lake is also a close drive to multiple airports, being about a 30-minute drive to both King County International Airport and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.

For those who like the water, Hall Lake not only provides access to its water but is also near places such as Puget Sound and Lake Washington. Because of this, other watersports, fishing spots, and hiking trails are available for visitors.

One of the most popular pastimes is visiting the large Lake Washington and going fishing. Lake Washington, due to its size, provides a vast number of excellent fishing spots for anglers. Fish that can be caught on the lake include several types of trout, perch, salmon, largemouth bass, and spiny rays. There are multiple boat launches providing access to the water.

Moving farther away from Hall Lake, heading east, visitors can also stop by Lord Hill Park. The park is over 1,400 acres and provides a variety of outdoor recreational activities. Lord Hill Park contains trails for walking, biking for horseback riding. The park has over six miles of trails designated for these activities. The park also hosts a variety of animal life, including beavers.
