Blue Heron Lake is located just six miles east of Wenatchee Bench in Douglas County, Washington. The area is also near Rock Island, Washington, and around two hours from Yakima, Washington.

Douglas County is a rural and diverse one that is near the geographic center of Washington. The Grant County International Airport is around an hour away and the Central Washington Hospital & Clinics is around 15 minutes away.
