Pawnee Lake is known for its accessibility and covers 740 acres with five miles of shoreline. The lake also has an average depth of 10 feet.

Pawnee Lake is an angler favorite, as it is easy to access and has a variety of fish. Walleye, bass, and white bass are the most popular, but channel catfish, flathead catfish, black crappie, and bluegill are also present.
