Chippewa Park sits on the strip of land between Devils Lake and Little Chippewa Lake.

The blue waters of Chippewa Lake, covering 1,175 acres, are adjacent to Devils Lake. The recreational lake is famous for pontooning, motorboating, water skiing, fishing, swimming, and more.

The nearby Carlos Creek Winery, one of the largest in the state, is an impressive establishment that produces fine wines. Visitors can tour the winery, join a tasting, or make a purchase.

For the 4th of July, many of Alexandria’s Lakes host boat parades and firework displays. The most famous is the Lake Darling Firework Show that happens every year.

Other events include New Years’ Eve bashes, the Alexandria Annual Fair, Ice and Lights, Christmas tree lighting, and more.
