The most popular activity on the pond is swimming at the beach! During the summer months, many locals and visitors from out of town come here to cool off. Lifeguards are on site from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. every day in July and August.

Fishing is also popular here! The lake is stocked with trout every spring and is the most sought-after species. Other kinds of fish you will find here are bass, sunfish, carp, golden shiner, perch, pickerel, and more!

Blue Hills is also home to miles of trails for hiking, biking, and cross country skiing during the winter!
