This is also a prime spot for fishing. Lake Hickory is the host of many fishing tournaments throughout the year. The rushing waters make it a great spot to find largemouth and striped bass. You can also catch channel and flathead catfish, black and white crappie, and bluegill. Some numerous coves and outlets can provide a private experience while out on the waters.
