On the Water Fun

Lovell Lake is two and a half miles long, covering 544 acres, with water levels as deep as 40 feet.

Lovell Lake is a great place to take out pontoons, speed boats, jet skis, kayaks, canoes, or paddle boats for a day on the water. With all of the boating comes swimming, fishing, water skiing, and tubing.

The fishing opportunities here are great! The lake has some of the best yellow perch fishing in the state, and it attracts anglers year-round. There are also excellent populations of smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, chain pickerel, hornpout, white perch, and walleye.

The annual 4th of July Boat Parade brings together the whole community for a grand celebration on the lake. The parade has a yearly theme, and prizes are awarded after a tour of the lake.
