What to do on the lake

The lake is 198 acres in size meaning that there is plenty of room for boating, fishing, swimming, and other forms of on-the-water fun. There is a public access site located on the Southside of Eagle Lake, off 70th Avenue/CR 358 so you can get your boats in the water. There you’ll find a gravel ramp, parking, and restrooms. Fishing fans will find that the lake is teeming with bluegill, largemouth bass, and northern pike, just to name a few.

What lies beyond the water

Camping fans will be in for a treat as seven miles away there is the Brush Creek Campground which is open from May to October and features 125 sites. The camp is home to several amenities such as hiking trails, a clubhouse, group events, and you can even bring your pets. Just above Eagle Lake is a small community that is home to the Oak Cove Resort. The resort features luxurious cottages and fine dining along Reynolds Lake and Lake Cora. The community is also home to the Lake Cora Hills Golf Course where you can sharpen your skills or spend some time with family. While in this community, you can catch some grub at the Teapot Dome, or Walt & Marie’s Country Market & Cafe. For more attractions and eateries, look no further than the village of Paw Paw which is home to at least 11 unique restaurants including a coffee shop near the heart of the village. There are also familiar favorites like Starbucks, and Wendy’s as well. The village has much in the way of outdoor activities like a fishing pond, a hiking trail, and several parks.
