This letter, written by Jean Hilliard to her son Jeff in 1985 marked the beginning of decades of family gatherings, peaceful mornings in the garden, and memories made in every room of this Yarmouth Port grande dame. Over two acres of flat upland provided more than enough space for Mr. Hilliard's garden to thrive, along with a frog pond with views out to Cape Cod Bay.
