Lake Spivey is a very sought out lake, being Georgia’s largest privately owned lake. It offers 500 acres for residents to enjoy and stretches over Clayton and Henry counties. The lake is conveniently located just 20 miles south of the lively city of Atlanta, Georgia.

Private Community Lake

Lake Spivey used to be open to the public, but in 1984 the was deeded to the Lake Spivey Civic Association, now making it restricted to resident use only and a very sought-after real estate location. This 500-acre lake with nine miles of shoreline is home to eight different communities, including Lake Spivey Estates, Lost Valley, Bay View, South Bay, The Landings, Forest Estates, Edgewater, and North Shore.
