In Rabun County, the Moonrise Distillery has existed since the 1950s. They continue to use double distillation to make bourbon, rye, vodka, gin, and brandy. Their location has a front porch that is 80 feet long and covered with a view of Black Rock Mountain, which frequently holds live music events.
