Bent Tree is described as one of the best-kept secrets in North Georgia, 60 miles north of Atlanta, nestled in the foothills of the sirene Appalachian Mountains.

Located in the Bent Tree community, Lake Tamarack is a private 110-acre lake that is 85 feet deep and fed by numerous streams. It is inhabited by various types of bass and is also stocked annually with trout. Bluegills, black crappies, and breams have also been caught.  

Many people enjoy Lake Tamarack's mountain views from their canoes, kayaks, sail, or paddle boats, which may be stored at the onsite boat storage facility. Gas-powered engines are not permitted on the lake, but electric motors are allowed.

The Courts at Bent Tree is a beautiful facility with a full menu of tennis & pickleball activities and lessons for the enthusiast as well as fundamental instruction for beginning players. 

For equestrian lovers, experience riding the beautiful wooded mountain trails with guided trail rides alongside rushing creeks, through wooded terrain, and besides an inspiring waterfall. 

Take in the majestic scenery of Bent Tree by visiting one of the four hiking trails: Sallie Doss, Forever Memorial, Denny Ridge, and Beaver Run. 

Bent Tree even has its own swimming pool, dog park, and kids' playground.
