With many  annual events and festivities, Lake Lanier has taken on a personality  of its own and is a place that many people call home. Every year in  November, the Lake Lanier Islands are decorated with Christmas lights  covering over 6 miles and creating one the world's largest holiday  light shows.

Being what many  consider the most popular body of water in the state of Georgia, there  is an abundant source of property from which both vacation seekers and  those looking to take up residence can choose from. These waterfront  real estate properties are extremely popular due to the large number of  annual visitors, and this lakefront land will continue to be a  must-have for many regional residents.
