Lake Number Two

Lakewood Community

Lake Number Two is located in North Little Rock, Arkansas. This beautiful lake is approximately 60 acres in size and has been known to have the best waters for fishing out of the other lakes in Lakewood.

On and Around the Lake

This lake is part of the Lakewood area, approximately 1500 acres, and has six lakes that flow from north to south. Other amenities for the community include a pool, sports fields, basketball courts, tennis courts, an activity center, a playground, and two pavilions.

There are good fishing opportunities in Lake Number Two. The most popular fish species caught here are largemouth bass, bluegill, catfish, and crappie.

A fishing dock is located on the east side of the lake, and fishing boats can operate at trolling speed only. Other unpowered watercraft such as canoes, paddleboats, and kayaks are also allowed.

Near the Lake

Close to Lake Number Two are parks, restaurants, shopping scenes, and more!

The Plantopic Home and Garden are adjacent to the lake. This landscaping, design, and decorating shop carries an assortment of shrubs, bushes, roses, trees, pottery, fountains, and more to create the perfect look for your lake home.

The Lakewood Village shopping center is located just seven minutes away from the lake and offers a great shopping experience and diverse dining options.

Hospital

There are two medical care centers located close to the lake area. Baptist Health Medical Center-North Little Rock is in a great location just ten minutes away. The Baptist Health Family Clinic Lakewood is located extremely close by, just under five minutes.

Airport

The closest international airport to Lakewood Lake is the Bill and Hillary Clinton National airport which is just about a 20-minute drive. There is also the North Rock Municipal Airport located just ten minutes north of the lake area.

Schools

There are several schools located in the area, and families have the option of between public schools, magnet schools, and Catholic schools. All are great options and put forth the effort to provide a supportive learning environment for your child.

City of Little Rock

As the capital of Arkansas, there are lots to do and see. In the city, you and the family can take museum tours, explore the outdoors at the Pinnacle Mountain State Park, and indulge in the Arkansas cuisine that is traditional country style.
